Developing Motor Skills

Activities relating to using the body's large muscles (gross motor skills) and small muscles (fine motor skills) are important in order for children to develop coordination, strength and concentration. Engaging gross motor skills helps to keep bodies active and healthy, whilst developing fine motor skills will help with the finger strength required for key tasks such as tying laces and holding a pencil correctly.
